The D/F scene from episode 4x18 aka Boom!
As of writing this, I haven't finished watching the entire episode but I just had to post screencaps for yet another wonderful Danny/Flack moment (although Danny isn't actually there) for this season!

So there's some high school prom and a teacher/school staff dude is found dead with half his face burnt away by acid. Ouch.

Flack and Stella are the first at the crime scene, Stella kneeling next to the dead body and Flack standing nearby, reading from his notebook details about the dead person. Then, Stella asks, "Who discovered the dead body?"

Mac shows up and asks the same question at the same time!

Stella stands up to look at Mac.

She smiles at him ...

And he's smiling too. Aww, look at him all abashed.

Flack is amused by this and says, "You two have been workin' together too long."

Stella lets out something like a sharp sigh, still smiling while Mac seems to be smiling in the background too. Flack goes right back to dishing out more details about the dead body.

Flack: A student came in lookin' for her keys and, boom.

There was quite a pause after he says boom. Dudes, Flack was totally thinking about Danny when he said boom! :D Look at that reminiscent, soft smile on his face! Oh yeah, he's thinking about Danny in a very, very nice way. >:D

Mac: Boom?

Flack glances at Mac, with that reminiscent smile still on his lips ...

And he raises his eyebrows as Mac says, "You and Danny have been working together way too long."

What was Flack's response?

Awwwwwwwwwwww. :D :D :D

Flack shrugs his shoulder ...

And smiles softly and shows with his eyes and his whole face just how happy he is to be working way too long with his Danny. With that look, Flack might as well have said, "Yeeaah, Danny's my other half, ya know? He makes me so happy, and I'm happy when he's happy. I wanna be with him all the time."

Awwwwww. :D

So yes, ladies and gentlemen, of all people, Mac is the one who acknowledges the closeness between Danny and Flack ... and it doesn't bother him one bit! How cool is that?

Hot damn, from now on, every time Danny or Flack says boom, we know for sure that they're thinking of each other whenever they do! :D

As for Danny, he was hardly in this episode, which surprised me because based on some spoilers posted at TalkCSI forums, I had expected more Danny/Lindsay drama to happen. But nope, there was nada. Me thinks next week's episode is the one with the D/L drama instead. Rikki's showing up next week, so it should be interesting. (Well, whatever Danny/Rikki scene there is anyway. I've been bored to death of any D/L scenes for a looooooong time.)

There was one great Danny/Hawkes moment though:

Okay, I am almost done with the bottom!Flack sex-in-a-car PWP story. I'll just say there's some kinky stuff in it. Uh hmm.

	That moment was SO classic. I almost fell off the bed laughing when Mac called him on it, and even more so at Flack's reaction. His expression was...dare I say it, loving? Super moment. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	I was giggle like good fangirl when I first heard about this scene. I'm telling you there must be D/F shippers among the CSI"NY writers. XD And look at Flack's goofy grin! That was sweet! I need to get the episode from somewhere, anywhere, except torrents, cause I can't use those since I have an evil roommate who's against it and it's her computer.
It was something about Hawks calling Danny a nerd. I know that it's silica dioxide in reaction with (I don't know for sure but..) hydrofluoric acid (I'm sure that's the English name for HF, if that's HF on the board).
OK, am I being a total dork for writing the above paragraph?

See, it's episodes like last night's that remind me how much i love the show. A lot of heavy stuff, then Danny or Flack chime in with a snarky comment and I laugh out loud. Also the comment about Flack riding Mac's ass (about the Taxicab killer) was priceless. Another series of huge grins.

I think the best thing about the ep though was that as soon as my friend logged on (a recovering D/L shipper) she said to me "I hope you saw that!". Incidentally, she's starting to see the Danny/Flack love. At least from Flack's side anyway.

I seriously need to figure out how to do a custom mood set, I could base the whole thing around Flack's expressions.

	God, that smirk is so cute! Eddie, you torture the poor fangirls. XP D/F fans: so easily pleased. lol The scene with Danny and Hawkes was adorable too--poor Sheldon, go talk to Adam, he'll share his ho hos and you can geek out together.
